Due to the important role of δ phase's quantity and morphology in the mechanical and fatigue properties of Inconel 718 alloy and its components,it is necessary to renew insights into the effect of cold deformation on the δ phase precipitation,especially on the morphology evolution.Therefore,the nucleation and growth behavior of δ phase in cold-rolled Inconel 718 alloy during aging were investigated.The results show that the precipitation rate and volume fraction of δ phase increase with increasing the cold rolling reduction from 10%to 50%.The volume fraction of δ phase reaches equilibrium after 5 h,remaining at 5.98%,6.52%,and 6.79%under different rolling reductions(10%,30%,and 50%),respectively.The nucleation of δ phase mainly occurs on different sites(grain boundaries,new twin boundaries and old twin boundaries)under 10%rolling reduction,while δ phase mainly nucleates on the new grain boundaries of static recrystallization due to 50%rolling reduction.And the growth of δ phase undergoes a process of alternate orientation growth from spherical(nucleation)→ short rod(longitudinal orientation growth)→ short rod(radial orientation growth)→ dynamic equilib-rium.Under 10%rolling reduction,δ phase tends to grow into the matrix,while under 50%rolling reduction,the orientation grows faster and is easily affected by the grain boundary curvature. 相似文献

The microstructural evolution and precipitation behaviour of Nb-V-Mo and single V containing transformation-induced plasticity-assisted steels with an acicular/bainitic ferrite matrix were investigated by a heat treatment up to the austenite formation range. It was found that during the heating stage the acicular/bainitic ferrite matrix resisted recrystallisation, while cementite and martensite were decomposed and austenite was formed in the acicular/bainitic ferrite. Both Nb-V-Mo and V containing steels after the heat treatment showed a microstructure consisting of a polygonal ferrite matrix with small islands of pearlite. During these transformations, the microscopy observations showed that 0.04 wt% Nb and 0.08 wt% Mo additions to the 0.16 wt% V microalloyed steel considerably reduced the growth-coarsening of microalloy precipitates. 相似文献

This work analyzes the influence of the discretization error associated with the finite element (FE) analyses of each design configuration proposed by the structural shape optimization algorithms over the behavior of the algorithm. The paper clearly shows that if FE analyses are not accurate enough, the final solution provided by the optimization algorithm will neither be optimal nor satisfy the constraints. The need for the use of adaptive FE analysis techniques in shape optimum design will be shown. The paper proposes the combination of two strategies to reduce the computational cost related to the use of mesh adaptivity in evolutionary optimization algorithms: (a) the use of an algorithm for the mesh generation by projection of the discretization error, which reduces the computational cost associated with the adaptive FE analysis of each geometrical configuration and (b) the successive increase of the required accuracy of the FE analyses in order to obtain a considerable reduction of the computational cost in the early stages of the optimization process. A reduced model technique based on kriging approximations is developed in order to increase the rate of convergence of an evolution strategy (ES) when solving a non‐destructive evaluation problem. The inverse problem investigated consists of identifying the geometry of discontinuities in a conductive material from Cauchy data measurements taken on the boundary. In this study, we use kriging approximation models in order to increase the rate of convergence of the optimization algorithm and to efficiently detect, from a computational time point of view, a subsurface cavity, such as a circle. The algorithm developed by combining evolution strategies and kriging approximations is found to be a robust, fast and efficient method for detecting the size and location of subsurface cavities. The application of the finite element method to model the deformation of metals at the mesoscale to study the microstructure and texture evolution is described. The finite element discretization is applied directly to the various grains, and crystal plasticity is used as the constitutive basis to model the plastic deformation by crystallographic slip, and to evolve the slip system strength and crystal lattice orientation of the material. Applications of the methodology to detailed studies of the non‐uniform deformations of individual grains, and effects of grain interactions on the distributions of deformation and stress in the microstructure are discussed. 相似文献

Recent interest in the development and evolution of theory of mind has provided a wealth of information about representational skills in both children and animals. According to J. Perner (1991), children begin to entertain secondary representations in the 2nd year of life. This advance manifests in their passing hidden displacement tasks, engaging in pretense and means-ends reasoning, interpreting external representations, displaying mirror self-recognition and empathic behavior, and showing an early understanding of \"mind\" and imitation. New data show a cluster of mental accomplishments in great apes that is very similar to that observed in 2-year-old humans. It is suggested that it is most parsimonious to assume that this cognitive profile is of homologous origin and that great apes possess secondary representational capacity.
